The Carolina BrewMasters is a non-profit club whose members enjoy making, tasting, and sharing beer, mead, and cider. In 2014, they became the first recipients of the American Homebrewers Association’s Radegast Club of the Year Award.
To win the Radegast Award, AHA Registered clubs must demonstrate what sets them apart as an awesome group in their community whether it be experimenting with brewing, volunteer work or charitable giving.
The Carolina BrewMasters embody what it means to be an awesome group in their community, hosting Charlotte Oktoberfest every year. This event features more than 90 breweries with 6,000 attendees and raises funds for more than $75,000 in charitable giving.
